Full year of Bible Readings for Phase II, 34 Pages
Fifty-two weeks of Scripture Readings guide the disciple through the books/chapters of the Bible that are relevant to the principles focused on in Phase II—Laying Foundations. It includes a brief guide that gives the disciple suggestions about reading and applying Scripture.
Reading the Bible (God’s Word) is an aspect of drawing near to God. The goal, at this point in your walk with God, is not to do an in-depth study or to completely understand each idea/truth presented. In fact, no one, no matter how mature and educated, understands everything in God’s Word because its depths are as unsearchable as He is.
The goal is to focus on what you do understand, and as you grow, more and more of the truths in Scripture will become clearer to you.
In these readings you will be focusing on the books of John, Colossians, I John, Genesis, Exodus, Philippians, Jonah and some of the Psalms. Before the first reading for each book there is a brief background of that book to help you understand the context. Each book (except Psalms) is broken down into daily readings (5/week). The 6th day will be a Psalm, and the 7th day is a catch-up or review day.
