WDA started a work in Kenya in 1994,….
partnering through Yusuf Gowi Okumu who was exposed to a WDA seminar in the U.S. A large group of American WDA staff, college students and Korean students went to 12 locations in western Kenya to introduce WDA’s small group Bible studies. Mary McKeever maintained relationships from that time through subsequent years.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
Isaiah 61:1
