Akim John Dalyop is a pastor with the Evangelical Churches Winning All (ECWA) of Bukuru District Jos, Nigeria. He currently serves as the District area’s Christian Education Organizer and Strategic Plan Coordinator. He also has been seconded by ECWA to Worldwide Discipleship Association (WDA) to serve as the Nigerian Representative and West African Coordinator. Akim ‘s passion has always been in Leadership Training on Disciple-Building which fits well with his job description in both ECWA and WDA.

Akim runs the WDA Leadership Institute in Nigeria, training Level 4 Leaders from diverse works of life in discipleship. The institute is also currently providing awareness on the need for discipleship in churches, schools and mission organizations. He and his team have the goal of establishing well over 1,000 monitored Discipleship cell group meetings in ECWA and at least 10,000 groups in Nigeria amongst other denominations. He also has the mission of reaching all the West African countries with WDA through partnership with the Evangelical Missionary Society (EMS) of ECWA. Raising indigenous church leaders from North-East Nigeria in discipleship to help with persecuted communities and churches is another ambition of Akim and his team. 

Pastor Akim lives in Jos-South of Plateau State, Nigeria with his lovely wife Abigail and their three adorable Children: Ryan, Nathaniel and Christine.

Akim just became a full-time missionary with WDA and relies on support to fuel the vast ministry work across the country.
