What a privilege it is to get to do what I do. You all help make that possible. I can’t thank you enough for being such an important part of our ministry team. Thanks so much for your prayers and financial support.

A new school year has begun and we are off to a good start. I had 6 guys at the first Bible study with the potential of at least 4 more coming this week. We are studying through the Gospel of Luke. The goal is to deepen their understanding of Jesus and His great grace. In the  Lambda Chi grads Bible study we are studying I Peter. I have had 2 more guys join that study this summer. It is so encouraging to see these young men want to continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord and with each other.
Last month I had the opportunity to teach 30 pastors and church leaders from India. This was all possible because of Zoom. I am always amazed at what modern technology can do. I also recorded 2 training videos for WDA that will be used to teach people how to be a life coach. WDA has a number of courses available. I would encourage you to check them out on the leadership institute website. You can find it by going to the WDA home page at www.

Please pray for our international ministry. We are now in 53 countries. Many of them are in dangerous situations where there is persecution or civil wars occurring. We are having an international gala on Sept. 15 in Fayetteville, GA. For those of you who live in the Atlanta area this would be an encouraging evening to hear from folks around the world about all that the Lord is doing. You can get more information on this event by going to the WDA website.
Again thanks so much for being a part of our ministry team. The Lord is at work. May the Lord bless each of you and your families. Nancy and I pray regularly for you all.
Love, Dave and Nancy

Why is Discipleship critical for the church worldwide?  The WDA 2820 Conference DVD provides insight from WDA President Bob Dukes and Restoring Your Heart Leader Jack Larson.  Watch this introductory video and consider getting this conference produced on DVD and suitable for use in many ministry contexts.

Great ExchangeEach June WDA staff meet together for an annual conference.  This year as different ministries presented stories about what God has been doing, we were able to hear from Jon Deans who is leading a ministry called the Great Exchange.

By creating opportunities where staff and students ask questions and listen to others, God is opening up opportunities for the message of the gospel to be presented.  Listen to Jon share about the Great Exchange and pray for WDA as we partner with churches and student ministries on campuses to bring the Great Exchange and the message of the gospel to college students.

Listen to Jon’s Presentation of the Great Exchange on this audio clip from our WDA Conference.

I hope this finds you enjoying the warmer weather and making plans to get away over the next few months for a time of relaxation with people you love.  The summer season often brings a change-of-pace and extra time with kids who are out-of-school.  It’s a time in WDA when students make plans for mission projects and community outreach events.  Many travel overseas to share the Good News, and others participate in events in their own neighborhoods.  Regardless, it’s an opportunity to grow and help others grow.

For decades, WDA has been equipping and sending young adults to reach their peers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Please pray for protection, provision, and open-doors.  We deeply appreciate you for standing with us as we “Go into all the world making disciples, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that Jesus commanded.”  It’s what we do, and what you do with us!  Blessings in His Name!
