It is God’s will for every believer to be nurtured
to maturity: “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone
with all wisdom, so that we might present everyone perfect (mature)
in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28)
Scripture describes the process of becoming mature
in Christ as “being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing
glory” (II Corinthians 3:18). This transformation is linked
to biblical disciple building, a process that leads to Christlike
maturity. Jesus put it this way: “When a disciple is fully
trained, he will become like his Teacher.” (Luke 6:40)
It’s clear from Matthew 28:18-20 that Jesus
wants us to make disciples of all nations. But we need a complete
understanding of what it means to follow Christ and help others
follow Him.
Extensive research, coupled with decades of disciple
building experience, has enabled WDA to help today’s disciple
builders design and implement specific growth activities.
