Nila (Shanabarger) Duffitt began her ministry with WDA discipling young women at Purdue University. She now serves as office personnel in communications, checking email and voicemail messages, managing the website and web store, editing materials and distributing WDA resources. Nila also enjoys teaching discipleship and restorative seminars stateside and overseas. She traveled to Mexico in 1997 and to Africa in 1994, 2000, 2006, and 2010. She is planning on traveling with the Restorative Team back to Kenya in the Spring of 2013.

Nila and her husband Scott reside in Churubusco, IN and are active members of the Churubusco United Methodist Church, leading Bible studies, teaching adult Sunday school, and Nila is on the rotation of preachers for the Tuesday Afternoon Praise service. They serve on various boards that support the school system. Scott can be heard over the public address system at Churubusco High School baseball and football games. Nila serves as his assistant.

Nila is grateful to be a part of WDA, getting disciple building resources to people and churches all over the world, helping them grow to maturity so that they can teach others. She is also grateful for those who have given, allowing her to serve since 1995.
