WDA’s mission is to serve the Church worldwide by developing Christlike character in people and equipping them to disciple others according to the pattern Jesus used to train his disciples.
Build Disciples
It is God’s will for every believer to be nurtured to maturity: “We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete (mature) in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28)
Train Leaders
The Christian life is a process. According to Scripture, after people come to Christ, they need to grow until they reach maturity. We mature according to common patterns, but everyone is unique. Therefore, discipleship approaches need to recognize and celebrate the uniqueness of every individual. To assist in this process, WDA equips leaders who come alongside people at their specific point of development and helps them take the next step.
Establish Ministries
WDA works in a variety of locations developing partnerships with local churches, training leaders around the world and our next generation ministries on campus in local communities.
Create Content and Curriculum
WDA produces materials, conducts training conferences and workshops, and provides customized consulting for disciple builders and ministries.
